General Audit Tool is a software company based in Dublin and Warsaw. It develops leading edge, cloud based, audit and security solutions. It’s principal target market is the Google G Suite environment. It’s customer base covers over 15 million end users and some of the biggest G Suite domains in the world. Most of the support staff work centrally at the company HQ in Dublin and most of the engineering staff work remotely in the Warsaw region.

About the role.

Responsibilities

  • Deploying, automating and maintaining cloud-based systems
  • Identify innovative and automated solutions to problems and implement them
  • Monitor system performance and implement monitoring tools and alerts
  • System troubleshooting and problem-solving across the platform
  • Suggesting architecture and process improvements
  • Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
  • Provide guidance and expertise on DevOps and cloud technologies to developers
  • Prepare and share documentation

About you.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge and experience with IaaS technologies such as Google Cloud Platform – very important
  • Practical knowledge on Linux OS – very important
  • Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL and MongoDB – important
  • Experience installing, operating and troubleshooting a variety of open source technologies – important
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and supporting tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab)  – important
  • Experience with automation and configuration management using Ansible or an equivalent – good to have
  • Experience with containers, container orchestration and scheduling, service registration/discovery and monitoring (Docker, Kubernetes) – important
  • Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
  • Good English language skills
  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
