General Audit Tool is a software company based in Dublin and Warsaw. It develops leading edge, cloud based, audit and security solutions. It’s principal target market is the Google G Suite environment. It’s customer base covers over 15 million end users and some of the biggest G Suite domains in the world. Most of the support staff work centrally at the company HQ in Dublin and most of the engineering staff work remotely in the Warsaw region.

About the role.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, testing and maintaining front-end architectures and rich web experiences with UIs that handles high volumes of data.
  • Build efficient and reusable frontend components and develop frontend best practices
  • Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
  • Provide guidance and expertise to developers
  • Prepare and share documentation

About you.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience with modern web technologies and techniques such as HTML5, CSS3, ES5 and ES6+, CSS preprocessors (SASS, Less, Stylus), JavaScript transpilers (Babel)  and JavaScript build tools (WebPack, Grunt) – very important
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular, Vue, Quasar  – very important
  • Experience with Node.js and the NPM package ecosystem – important
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility, browser tuning and optimization techniques/tools – important
  • Familiarity with real-time communication mechanisms such as WebSockets and WebRTC  – good to have
  • Experience with data visualization libraries/tools such as D3, Plotly, Cytoscape – good to have
  • Experience with browser extensions development – good to have
  • Experience with Git and GitLab – important
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and supporting tools like Jenkins – good to have
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Gimp – good to have
  • Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus
  • Good English language skills
  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
